Meet the Team
The people who make Port City Plumbing & Heating great.

Owner / Operator
Garnett Jenkins
Garnett comes from a family of entrepreneurs and small business owners. From a young age he always knew he wanted to own his own business.. In 2010 that dream came to fruition.
After graduating with honours from the New Brunswick Community College plumbing program, Garnett went straight to work completing his apprenticeship in Saint John. In 2006 he received his journeyman license and found his place as a foreman and supervisor on many large commercial projects. During this time, while teaching and training so many under him, he often thought what it might be like to teach the trade on a larger scale. He decided to pursue teaching plumbing courses in post secondary institutions.
Eventually Garnett took the inevitable leap, followed his long time dreams of being a business owner and started what is now Port City Plumbing.

When he's not in the office or on a job you can normally find Garnett wearing his 2 other hats - as dad and coach. Hanging out with his awesome kids and amazing wife! Or on the ice with his hockey pals.

Plumber
Jordan Leblanc
Jordan joined us in 2017. With 6 years of experience so far and he's only just getting started! He knew getting into the trade was for him because he loves the hands on work that keeps him busy and the endless opportunities to learn new things everyday! As a Montreal Canadiens fan Jordan can always be found in a rivalry with Garnett, a long time Toronto Maple Leafs fan, but besides that.. he's a cherished part of the team!

Plumber / Pipefitter
Mark Loughery
Mark joined the team in 2022 . He's a star plumber and pipefitter with over 10 years of experience. He's always been drawn to hands on work, which is why he got into this field of work in the first place. His favourite thing about the job is the ability to always learn new ways to tackle a job and get it done right. He might look like the serious one but he loves to keep the jokes flowing on and off site! Especially on his days off hanging out with his kids.

Plumbing Apprentice
Tabitha Bass
Tabitha started with Port City Plumbing during a work term in May of 2023. We loved her so much we had to ask her to stay! So by June of 2023 she officially started working full time with us as a plumbing apprentice. Tabitha decided to get into this line of work as a way to challenge herself and learn a completely new skill. In her eyes it's paid off, because she learns something new everyday on the job at Port City Plumbing! When she's not on a work site, you can usually find her outdoors (her favourite place to be) or spending time with family. She's also an avid baker and horse rider. Truly a jack of all trades and we're happy to have her as an addition to the team.
